Margaret Mitchell

 Margaret Mitchell was born November 8, 1900 in Atlanta, Georgia. Mitchell went to Smith College and then returned home to work for the Atlanta Journal. She spent ten years writing her one and only novel, Gone with the Wind, one of the best selling novels at the time.
